Our Story
It started with a barn and a rusty red sedan.
The story
One barn find, one family wedding and a garage that has been busy ever since.

2014
Walt Ortega was driving back from a car show in Wickenburg when he spotted a fender sticking out of a collapsed barn. Underneath was a 1928 touring sedan, sun-bleached and missing most of her interior. He bought her for $900 and a handshake.
2017
Rosalind drove Walt's daughter Lucy to her own wedding. Before the reception was over, two guests had asked if they could book her too. Valley Vintage Carriage Co. opened that spring.
Today
Lucy runs the business, Walt still runs the garage, and the family has grown to five cars. Every one was restored in the same garage off 16th Street, and every one is still serviced there every week.

Not in our closed cars. Rosalind, Augustine and Delphine have discreet modern climate control. Every ride also has chilled water and cool towels.
Clementine and Josephine book October through April only. In summer, we'll suggest a closed car or a golden-hour photo session.
Monsoon storms usually pass quickly. Convertibles have weather tops, and if lightning or flooding makes driving unsafe, we'll wait it out or swap to a closed car at no charge.
Yes. Our chauffeurs help with the train at every door, and we lay a clean liner on the floor.
No. Vintage cars aren't built for long highway trips, so we keep every ride within the Phoenix metro.
